"Programs / Bootcamps / Courses / Webinars"

Structured learning experiences offered by Cloudegree, including but not limited to Azure certification programs, cloud foundations training, bootcamp certificate tracks, and educational events.

3. Eligibility & User Accounts

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services. If you are under 18, you may only use Cloudegree with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Account Information

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Not create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes

  • Bootcamps: Intensive, cohort-based training programs with certification preparation
  • Mentorship: One-on-one guidance and career coaching from experienced cloud professionals
  • Webinars and events: Live sessions, open houses, and community events

Important Disclaimers

While we are committed to providing high-quality education, Cloudegree makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Job placement: Enrollment does not guarantee employment or job interviews
  • Certification success: Passing third-party exams (e.g., Microsoft Azure certifications) depends on your individual effort and preparation
  • Specific career outcomes: Results vary based on individual circumstances, effort, and market conditions

Cloudegree reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue services at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

5. Enrollment, Pricing & Payments

Enrollment Requirements

To enroll in a program or bootcamp, you must:

  • Create a Cloudegree account
  • Complete the enrollment process
  • Pay the applicable fees (unless the program is offered free of charge)

Pricing Transparency

All prices are displayed clearly during the enrollment process. Prices may vary based on:

  • Program type and duration
  • Geographic region (Cameroon vs International pricing)
  • Promotional offers or discounts

Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and local payment options where available. Payment processing is handled securely through trusted third-party providers.

Currency & Additional Charges

6. Refunds, Cancellations & Withdrawals

  • Bootcamp refunds depend on how far in advance you request cancellation

Refund Process

7. Intellectual Property

Ownership

All Content provided through Cloudegree, including but not limited to:

  • Course materials and curriculum
  • Videos and recordings
  • Documents, slides, and exercises
  • Platform design and code
  • Cloudegree branding, logos, and trademarks

...is the exclusive property of Cloudegree or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

License Granted to Users

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Cloudegree grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content solely for your personal educational purposes.

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Redistribute, sell, or share Content with third parties
  • Record, screenshot, or copy live sessions without explicit permission
  • Use Content for commercial purposes
  • Modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works
  • Remove copyright notices or proprietary markings

Violation of intellectual property rights may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

8. User Conduct & Acceptable Use

To maintain a safe and productive learning environment, all users must adhere to our community standards.

Prohibited Behaviors

You may not:

  • Abuse, harassment, or discrimination: Engage in behavior that is offensive, threatening, or discriminatory based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Cheating or plagiarism: Submit work that is not your own, use unauthorized materials during assessments, or help others cheat
  • Account sharing: Share your login credentials or allow others to access your account
  • Disruptive behavior: Spam, troll, or disrupt community discussions, live sessions, or mentorship calls
  • Unauthorized access: Attempt to access restricted areas of the Platform or other users' accounts
  • Malicious activity: Upload viruses, malware, or engage in activities that harm the Platform or other users

Community Standards

We expect all users to:

  • Treat others with respect and professionalism
  • Contribute constructively to discussions and community activities
  • Report violations or concerning behavior to Cloudegree staff

Consequences of Violations

Violations of these conduct policies may result in:

  • Warnings or temporary restrictions
  • Suspension from specific programs or services
  • Permanent account termination without refund
  • Legal action in cases of serious misconduct

9. Mentorship & Community Disclaimer

Mentors provide guidance, not professional guarantees: Mentorship sessions offer career advice, technical guidance, and learning support. Mentors are experienced professionals but are not providing legal, financial, or guaranteed career placement services.

Advice is informational: All guidance provided by mentors, instructors, or community members is for informational and educational purposes only. It should not be construed as professional advice tailored to your specific circumstances.

Community interactions: While we moderate community spaces to maintain quality and safety, we cannot guarantee that all user-generated content is accurate, appropriate, or error-free. Users are responsible for their own contributions.

10. Webinars & Events

Registration Requirements

Registration for webinars and events may require providing contact information and agreeing to event-specific terms. Some events may have limited capacity and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recording and Reuse Policies

Cloudegree may record webinars and events for internal use, promotional purposes, or to provide replays to registered participants. By attending, you consent to being recorded. Participants may not record sessions without prior written permission.

Changes, Postponements, or Cancellations

Cloudegree reserves the right to:

  • Change event dates, times, or formats with reasonable notice
  • Postpone or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Substitute speakers or change event content as needed

In the event of cancellation, registered participants will be notified and may receive a refund or credit based on the event's refund policy.

SERVICES PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"

Cloudegree provides all services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of Content
  • Warranties that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
  • Warranties regarding specific outcomes, results, or certifications

You use the services at your own risk. Cloudegree does not warrant that the services will meet your expectations or achieve specific educational or career outcomes.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Cloudegree and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from inability to access or use services
  • Damages arising from third-party content, actions, or services

In no event shall Cloudegree's total liability exceed the amount you paid to Cloudegree in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Regional Legal Carve-outs: For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under EU consumer protection laws.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cloudegree, its affiliates, officers, employees, mentors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your misuse of the Platform or services

  • Your conduct or actions while using Cloudegree services

17. Termination

User-Initiated Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@cloudegree.com. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any associated Content or programs.

Refunds for active enrollments will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Platform-Initiated Termination

Cloudegree may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Your actions harm or could harm other users or the Platform
  • We are required to do so by law or legal process

Effects of Termination

Upon termination of your account:

  • You will immediately lose access to the Platform and all Content
  • Your license to use Cloudegree materials will be revoked
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, indemnification, limitation of liability) will remain in effect

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cameroon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

EU Consumer Rights Preserved

For users located in the European Union, nothing in this section affects your rights as a consumer under mandatory EU consumer protection laws. EU residents retain all rights provided by applicable EU regulations, including the right to bring claims in their local jurisdiction.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Cloudegree services shall be resolved through:

  • Jurisdiction: For non-EU users, disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Cameroon courts
