Designer (Brand & Digital)
Role Overview
As our Brand & Digital Designer, you'll shape the visual identity of Cloudegree across web, social, and learning experiences. This role exists to create cohesive, professional designs that communicate clarity and credibility to engineers and professionals seeking cloud education. You'll design landing pages, social graphics, email templates, course assets, and presentation decks-all while maintaining brand consistency and a systems-first approach. Your work directly impacts how learners perceive and engage with Cloudegree.
Key Responsibilities
- •Design web pages, landing pages, and UI components for Cloudegree's platform
- •Create social media graphics (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) for campaigns and announcements
- •Design email templates for marketing campaigns, course notifications, and newsletters
- •Develop learning assets like architecture diagrams, infographics, and presentation templates
- •Maintain and evolve the Cloudegree brand guidelines (colors, typography, visual style)
- •Collaborate with marketing and content teams to translate concepts into visual designs
- •Create reusable design systems and component libraries for faster execution
- •Ensure all designs are optimized for web performance and accessibility
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in digital design, brand design, or UI/UX design
- ✓Strong portfolio demonstrating web design, social graphics, and brand work
- ✓Proficiency in Figma (primary tool) and Adobe Creative Suite (optional)
- ✓Understanding of design systems, component libraries, and reusable templates
- ✓Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
- ✓Strong attention to detail, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- ✓Comfortable with feedback and iteration based on performance data
Nice-to-Have
- +Experience designing for EdTech, SaaS, or technical audiences
- +Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end frameworks (helps with web design handoff)
- +Familiarity with motion design or animation (for social and web)
- +Understanding of cloud architecture diagrams (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- +Experience with design tools like Webflow, Framer, or other no-code platforms

After 30–90 days, success in this role looks like:

Compensation & Commitment
Type: Contract or freelance (flexible hours, project-based)
